Which baseball teams are on the wheel?
All 30 MLB clubs, 15 in the American League and 15 in the National League, listed by their official names. Two names are worth a note. The club that left Oakland after the 2024 season is officially just the Athletics, with no city in front; it plays in West Sacramento while its planned Las Vegas ballpark is built. And the former Cleveland Indians have been the Cleveland Guardians since 2022. The Toronto Blue Jays are the one club based in Canada.
How do I pick a ballpark for a baseball road trip?
Visiting every major league ballpark is a classic bucket-list goal, and a wheel makes a good route-planner. Delete the teams you have already seen in Edit as text, then spin for the next one. Turn on Remove the winner after each spin and the wheel keeps shrinking as you tick parks off, and it is saved in your browser for next summer. If you have a fixed travel window, spin the month wheel between April and September too, then check that the team is at home that week.
For a regional trip, keep only nearby clubs. The Northeast is dense enough to link the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Phillies and Orioles in one long weekend of driving; the US states wheel helps if you want to pick the region first.
Adopt a team for the season
Baseball’s regular season runs 162 games per team, from late March to the end of September, which makes it ideal for a long-running group game. Everyone spins a club on opening weekend, with remove-the-winner turned on so each team goes to one person. Check in each month: who is leading their division, whose team has the longest winning streak, who is already talking about next year. With ten people, each can take three teams and keep a spread across both leagues.
Video game and card game picks
In baseball video games, spin for your side before a quick exhibition so neither player always takes the same favourite. For a longer challenge, spin one team and play a whole franchise season with it. After leaving Oakland at the end of the 2024 season, the club is officially called the Athletics, with no city name. It plays in West Sacramento until its planned Las Vegas ballpark is ready.
